Welcome to Hadees Blog, Hadees is a personal brand created by Abeeha Hadees Zaidi (AKA me). I use the name Hadees for most of my platforms, to create a brand , and due to its history.
History Behind Hadees
Hadees was the name of my Dadi (Father-side Grandma in Urdu) , who i was never fortunate enough to see, but fortunate enough to hear stories about. To continue her legacy, as an English teacher and one who was known to teach and learn herself, i decided to dedicate my platforms to her. Though she physically never inspired me, her spirit and stories told by others , inspired me to make an impact on the world through my words. However, not all my platforms are blogs, many are still in the process, but some are art and some are podcasts, but they are all something that have brought me one step closer to leaving her legacy beside mine. These platforms serve as a demonstration of my interpretation on life and my lense...
Purpose
The purpose of these platforms is to tell my stories and others, in all forms available. As an immigrant at a young age, i've always had questions about the world that you can travel so far, and also the world that is so small, but at the same time so big and scary. Many of my material is from my perspective, serving the purpose of sharing my lense. Therefore, you will see material on immigrants,equality,climate change, literature, and other topics that i discover through my years.
The Blog
Something that I feel my Dadi left behind in the hands of my cousins and me , was the art of a pen/keyboard.The elders have seem to lost their way, as they are blown into work life and surviving for their kids, and some of the youth seem to be carried away on to the new technology and adulthood , forgetting about the power in our hands. Me, being one of the few , that has stuck with the pen/pencil/keyboard, love to write on politics,humanity and interesting finds. Something that I actually learnt from one of my elder cousins way to write a diary, something so fascinating about records and thoughts of a person, and to look back at those young and undeveloped thoughts, make it a so much more interesting. As I began my youthful journey of writing my diary, I began to drift of into philosophy and the deeper meaning of life, at a young age, being one of the few so deep into the pens power, was not just lonely, but terrifying, but aia crawled myself out, and there i found a new power and a new way to express my minds work of wondering, writing articles. I began writing in my high school newspaper when I moved to America in 2017- after living in Dubai for 9 years and born in Pakistan in 2004-and that's when I used my power of writing in real life events, and did my best to change the mindset of those who live ignorant lives, though its not always possible to accomplish things, as long as you do your best, you are considered successful. And now I begin my next journey, writing on my own platform, while continuing on my personal (logs, diaries and poems) and community platform (highschool newspapers, and college newspapers) .
My Message to You
I suggest reading each of these posts , and my other posts , with careful consideration of what you have read about me, and my circumstances and life adventures. I also want you guys to build your own views, don't just use mine to build yours, researching is a great way to build your own mind.
